The MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Kean University, in the New York City Metropolitan Area, is convening a master seminar on Thursday and Friday, April 10-11, for college and university seniors who are studying or have studied genocide in its many aspects. The seminar is also inviting course instructors and advisers to submit proposals. The two-day seminar, which will take place in the university's Human Rights Institute, will feature an international scholar in residence from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Accepted papers will be published in an E-book anthologized by the MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies program. Participants will be expected to cover travel costs as well as a $200 registration fee that includes meals, overnight accommodations, shuttle service, and materials.

Submit a 250 word abstract by March 1 with your name or the names of the PI and other investigators, plus your college or university affiliation, to Rebecca Posna, assistant to the director, at posnar@kean.edu. We will respond with our decisions by March 8 and assist participants with travel arrangements.
