May 21, 2018: Concert based on "Esther, Sweet Esther"

Lillian Hussong's picture

On Monday, May 21st at 7 p.m. at the Trump Hotel (Washington, DC), we are having a concert which will feature songs and talent from a Broadway-bound musical Esther, Sweet Esther.  The musical is based on Biblical story of Esther, the Jewish maiden who saves her people from genocide.

Because of popular demand, we have had to move the musical event into a larger space at the hotel.

As a result, we do have a few seats left. I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity and attend our free concert. There will be original music, scenes and songs from the show, and it will be a fundraiser for a good cause: a fully staged theatrical production of our Broadway-bound musical in Washington before we take it to New York. Unlike so much theatre and entertainment these days, Esther, Sweet Esther is a family show with tuneful and upbeat music, and it is based on the Biblical story of Esther. The story has strong appeal today because of its contemporary relevance.

It will be a tax-deductible fundraiser, and it will give you an opportunity to lend your support to a worthwhile show.

Attached is a mailer. I hope I will be seeing you soon. Please let me know, if you will be coming, and the number of people in your party.

Best wishes always,

Joe David
