Workshops "Crocevia Algeria / Carrefour Algérie: dialoghi di storia interculturale / dialogues d'histoire interculturelle" (Crossroads Algeria: intercultural history dialogues)

Marialuisa Lucia Sergio Discussion

The two workshops, within the framework of the PhD degree program in Theory and Educational and Social Research at university Roma Tre, aim to analyze, from a historical-sociological interdisciplinary perspective, key moments in the history of Algeria (colonial and postcolonial), which represented a fundamental cultural, political and religious crossroads in the Mediterranean. The workshops expose in particular some generational reforms related to the socio-politico-economic context, in particular those which have affected educational policies, migratory flows, actors, social movements, elites, intelligentsias and professional identities (12 April) and the issues of interreligious cohabitation and Islamic-Christian dialogue (May 17).
The interventions are in Italian and in French but questions in English are allowed.

Meeting are host in a hybrid modality (In-Person and online)
