The Virtual Library of Social and Cultural Anthropology is a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and based at the Humboldt University Library of Berlin which is responsible for the Special Subject Collections "General and Comparative Folkore Studies" and "General and Comparative Social Anthropology". It provides tools for the research of folkloristic and anthropological information. It was launched in 2003 and is continuously being extended.
