The purpose of this informal social event is to for grad students and recent Ph.D.’s whose research interests are in Early Slavic studies to meet each other and to ask advice from a panel early-career academics about how best to promote themselves for the job market during this rough time, and other career-related concerns.

The co-hosts of the meeting are three early-career academics from different disciplines co-hosting the event: Maria Ivanova, literature (McGill U.), Andrey Ivanov, history (U Wisconsin-Plattville), and Tom Grusiecki, art history (Boise State U.). The Zoom host is the ESSA Treasurer, Justin Willson (justin.willson@gmail.com).

This should be an informative and enjoyable meeting, so we hope that everyone who is interested will be able to attend.
