CFP: Colloquium in Honour of Toyin Falola: Contemporary Issues in Education, Arts, the Social Sciences, and Sciences

 

To mark the award of an honorary doctorate bestowed on Professor Toyin Falola by the Tai Solarin University, you are invited to participate in a one-day colloquium in his honour on the theme of Contemporary Issues in Education, Arts, the Social Sciences and Sciences.  The colloquium is being organized by a generation of younger scholars in collaboration with the management and staff of Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijebu-Ode.

Ann: African Studies in the Digital Age

Dear colleagues:

Some of you will be interested to hear of 'African Studies in the Digital Age', a ten-day workshop we're convening here in Ann Arbor beginning next week. The workshop is the second installment in an ongoing collaboration, generously funded by the Mellon Foundation, joining the University of Michigan African Studies Center with the Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research.
