ONLY A WEEK LEFT UNTIL THE DEADLINE: Call For Contributions: “Medieval Borders and the Environment”(provisional title)(Brill)

You have still a week to send your 200-300 word abstract of your proposed essay, and a brief introduction of yourself, to elisa.ramazzina@unipv.it

The abstract will need to explain the interrelation between borders, the environment (natural, urban, etc.) and/ or natural elements.

The deadline for the submission of proposals is March 15, 2023.


Proposals for essays in English (c. 8000-12000 words) are warmly welcomed on the topic “borders, the elements, and the environment”.


Applications are now open for the 2023 cohort of the LUNE ONE research program.

LUNE ONE is a research workshop for undergraduate and early postgraduate African students who are enthusiastic about learning how to engage and produce impactful research across disciplines. Selected participants join a cohort who go through an intense 12 weeks of mentoring and classes to develop personal and professional research skills needed for academic, commercial, innovation or development research. This program is free for participants.
