Appreciation for H-Net and this fabulous Community

Lorna Zukas (she/her/hers) Discussion

Hi Everyone,

I'm Lorna Zukas, an editor at H-Africa, and H-Net's new President-elect. Before we slow down for the holiday break, I want to express how much I appreciate being a member of the H-Net Community. We are a community of nearly 250,000 scholars worldwide. Despite demanding schedules and diverse interests, we benefit from sharing information and a commitment to supporting open-access quality information on the Web. Thank you to the hundreds of editors who give thousands of hours each year to build and engage their H-Net networks. Thank you to the small H-Net staff that accomplishes the herculean job of running and innovating the platform and supporting network editors. Thank you, all H-Net members, for participating in this community.

I have provided an annual donation to H-Net for years as a token of my appreciation. It's a small donation but it helps me to know I am giving something back to this great organization. I also know that when many modest donations are gathered together, they become a sizable donation and make many things possible. So, the amount of a donation is not important: $5.00 to $500.00, monthly or one-time. What matters is joining in as a community member to support H-Net.

To donate by credit card online, please follow this link to the Support H-Net page: https://donorbox.org/support-h-net-giving-tuesday-2021
