Conversaram neste podcast sobre o modo como o livro concebe a margem, e o seu importante contributo para questionar a oposição entre centro e periferia; o seu original posicionamento face tanto à clássica escola de Chicago como aos mais recentes urbanismos do Sul; assim como sobre os desafios de fazer uma etnografia espacial sobre a cidade de origem.

There are plans for translation and publication in Portuguese in the coming years. This is an innovative ethnography of the city of Luanda, the capital of Angola. In this podcast, they discuss how the book conceives the margin and its important contribution in questioning the opposition between center and periphery; its original positioning both in relation to the classical Chicago school and to more recent urbanisms of the South; as well as the challenges of conducting a spatial ethnography about the city of origin.
