Obituary: Passing of Prof. Aharon Shemesh

H-Judaic is deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing, after a courageous battle with cancer,  of Prof. Aharon Shemesh (1943-2018), one of the leading Talmud faculty members at Bar Ilan University.  Born in Israel, Prof. Shemesh trained at Bar Ilan, where he studied, among others, with Daniel Boyarin and Moshe Weiss, and then joined Bar Ilan's faculty in 1996.
