CONF: Australian Association For Jewish Studies Annual Conference February 14 & 15 - Melbourne and Online

The Australia Association for Jewish Studies (AAJS) annual conference will be held Monday & Tuesday February 14-15 (AEST), both via zoom and in-person at Deakin University Downtown, Melbourne CBD, with the theme: 'Jewish History in a Global Context - Telling Transnational Stories.'

Eminent Holocaust scholar, Professor Debórah Dwork (CUNY) will be opening the conference with her keynote lecture Flight and Exile: Challenges of Jewish Refugee Life, 1933-1953; and renowned Architecture, Design, and Cultural Heritage Experts, Professor Harriet Edquist (RMIT), Professor Phillip Goad (University of Melbourne) and Professor Andrea Whitcomb (Deakin University) will form a keynote panel: Telling Transnational Stories through Galleries, Archives, Museums, and Heritage Places.
