CfPs: "Vernacular Science" and "Yiddish, Yinglish, English" - for MLA 2022 from Yiddish committee

Dear colleagues, 

I'm writing to share two CfPs for next year's MLA convention, "Vernacular Science" and "Yiddish, Yinglish, English: Rendering the Multilingual Immigrant Text in a Dominant Language". Abstracts are due by March 19, please be in touch with questions. These two panels have been proposed by the LLC Yiddish forum's executive committee, which I am chairing this year. We would love to hear from other MLA members interested to participate in the Yiddish forum in future years.

Yiddish is used to translate and promote information about health and hygiene.
