I have found on line a number of discussions of an April 2020 Bible translation by the Danish Bible Society, which replaced many references to "Israel" wih paraphrases to avoid confusion with the modern State of Israel.
However, I found them while looking for information on a Bible translation, as far as I remember into English, that I remember reading about decades ago, which explicitly took a non-Zionist or anti-Zionist stance and modified existing translation conventions accordingly. Like the recent Danish effort, this was the subject of some controversy.
Can anyone provide information on that earlier translation?
