How has COVID-19 affected the practice of teaching and learning of Jewish texts and ideas? As synagogue schools and supplementary programs, day schools, adult education programs old and new, university courses, even camps all migrated online, what has been happening in all of those Zoom rooms?

The Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education at Brandeis University, in partnership with the Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah, will support a set of original empirical studies of synchronous Jewish text study during the pandemic across settings and life stages.

Proposals should be submitted as an email attachment to onlinejewishedstudy@brandeis.edu by August 17 or as soon as possible. For more information, see the full Call for Proposals here: https://www.brandeis.edu/mandel/projects/onlinelearningcfp.html
