Friedman Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Jewish Studies
Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for the Friedman Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Jewish Studies. Applications will be accepted from scholars in any field of Jewish Studies. This position is for the 2017-2018 academic year, with renewal possible for the 2018-2019 academic year. The Friedman fellow will be assigned a faculty mentor; will be expected to teach one course per semester, designed in consultation with the faculty mentor and department chair, and conduct research in his/her area of Jewish Studies. Candidates from universities both within and outside the United States are welcome to apply. Applicants must have earned the Ph.D. by the beginning of the fall semester 2017 and not earlier than 2014. Applications will be reviewed beginning February 8, 2017.
