Invitation for Nominations: Peace History Society Book and Article Prizes

Dear H-Diplo Colleagues,
 

The Peace History Society warmly invites nominations for our 2023 book and article prizes. If you or somebody you know has published on topics including (but not limited to) peace and social justice movements, international diplomacy, cultures of war and peace, individual peace activism, and/or histories of women, peace, and security, please do consider putting forward a nomination. All submissions must be received by May 1, 2023. 

DeBenedetti Article Prize in Peace History

The Peace History Society invites nominations (including self-nominations) for the DeBenedetti Prize in Peace History for an English language journal article, book chapter, or book introduction on peace history published in 2021 or 2022.  The prize, awarded biennially, carries a cash award of $500.  Further information can be found at https://www.peacehistorysociety.org/debenedetti/.

Scott Bills Memorial Book Prize in Peace History

The Peace History Society invites nominations (including self-nominations) for the Scott Bills Memorial Prize for a first book or a dissertation in English completed in 2020, 2021, or 2022 on a topic related to peace history. Elise M. Boulding Book Prize in Peace History

The Peace History Society invites nominations (including self-nominations) for the Elise Boulding Prize in Peace History for an outstanding English-language nonfiction book by a single author in the field of Peace History published in 2021 or 2022. First books and dissertations are not eligible. This prize, awarded biennially, carries a cash award of $500.  Further information can be found at https://www.peacehistorysociety.org/boulding/.
