Sumner Museum is collaborating with Dunbar Alumni Federation for the November Open House.  We are celebrating the History, Pride and Legacy of Dunbar Senior High School. All Dunbar Students, Alumni and Friends are invited to attend this Saturday, November 18th from 10am until 3pm.

The Open House will feature a mini film festival to include a special screening of the highly acclaimed film, 'Dunbar: The Alchemy of Achievement' and our museum premiere of 'Voting Rights: The Struggle to be Counted', a timely piece produced by Phil Portlock, c/o 1959. We will also feature DCPS Show & Tell: The Dunbar Edition and Student performances including a solo vocal performance and a not to miss presentation by members of Dunbar HS JROTC where the past and present will meet.
