Greetings:   The DC Historic Preservation Office recently received and filed for hearing two historic landmark nominations:


17-12  U.S. Department of State – 2201 C Street NW (ANC 2A)

  • Nominated by U.S. General Services Administration (owner)  


17-13  American Theater – 104-108 Rhode Island Avenue NW (ANC 5E)

  • Nominated by DC Preservation League    


Public hearings for nominations are scheduled by the Historic Preservation Review Board as their calendar permits under the authority of the Historic Landmark and Historic District Protection Act of 1978.   The nominations are posted on the HPO website at:   https://planning.dc.gov/node/917472
