Glenbow Museum Exhibition on Metis Review with 100+ Images Added

Paul C. Thistle's picture

Dear colleagues:

In order to mark Canada's National Indigenous Peoples Day 2021, my Critical Museology Miscellanea post links to author Paul C. Thistle's analytical review of the Glenbow Museum's 1985 exhibition on Metis culture and history marking the centennial of the Metis Resistance in 1885 against the imposition of Canadian rule in the territory now known as Saskatchewan. The purpose is to connect 100+ of the author's photographs of this important exhibit to add related details that did not fit into the published article that originally allowed no illustrations.

See .

Respectfully yours

Paul C. Thistle
