Virtual Allen Morris Forum on the Native South April 2021

The Allen Morris Forum on the Native South invites interested parties to join a collegial exhibition of new research on Native Americans in the American South virtually via Zoom. The April 2021 session welcomes the work of Dr. Aubrey Lauersdorf from Auburn University.

 

Dr. Lauersdorf will be discussing her work titled “‘They had their women & children concealed’: Indigenous Women & Warfare in the Sixteenth Century Gulf South.” Opening comments will be provided by Dr. Robbie Ethridge from the University of Mississippi and Dr. Alejandra Dubcovsky from University of California, Riverside.

 

The event is free but requires an RSVP to access the Zoom room and receive the pre-circulated paper.
