The Australian Journal of Jewish Studies is an international, interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal published annually by the Australian Association for Jewish Studies. The Journal is devoted to the study of Jewish culture in all aspects and all periods; see our homepage at http://www.aajs.org.au/journal/

The Journal’s editorial team is currently welcoming submission of manuscripts for consideration for the 2020 volume (XXXIII) of the Journal. Guidelines for the preparation of manuscripts can be found at http://www.aajs.org.au/AAJS_Stylesheet.pdf. This is an open-themed call: original research or literature review articles (~8,000 words) and book reviews (~3,000 words) are welcomed on any topic of relevance to the scope of Jewish studies. Only manuscripts in academic English can be accepted.

All research articles in the Journal undergo rigorous double-blind peer review. From 2019, the Journal is fully open access online, with no article processing charge. The Journal is indexed by EBSCO.

Manuscripts and books for review should be sent to the Journal Editors, Dr Jan Láníček (j.lanicek@unsw.edu.au) and Dr Jennifer Creese (jennifer.creese@uqconnect.edu.au) by June 30th, 2020.
