Call for Journal Article Reviews: Olympika (Vol. 30, 2021)

Olympika: The International Journal of Olympic Studies invites graduate students to write a journal article review for its upcoming issue (Vol. 30, 2021). This particular issue of the journal follows the theme of the impact of Covid-19 on the Olympic Games. Potential reviewers are encouraged to select an article to review (either on their own or from a brief pre-approved list) that is concerned with the socio-cultural impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Olympic Games. The article reviewed may be from a historical, sociological, legal, philosophical, or management perspective. Please note that reviews are typically between 500 and 750 words.

Olympika is the official peer-reviewed journal of the International Centre for Olympic Studies at Western University in London, Ontario. The journal seeks to publish rigorous scholarly articles on the historical, sociological, philosophical, and management dimensions of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Olympic Movement more broadly. The Journal Article Review sections offers graduate students a platform to engage in scholarly discourse on important Olympic issues while also providing an opportunity to enhance their CV with a written review credit.
