* Research Participation Request * - Assessing Active Learning Practices in Sport Management Education

* Apologies for cross-posting, but please do consider passing along to your colleagues for consideration as well!

Given the current state of sport management education, and general shifts in pedagogical perspectives, we are interested in assessing the state of active learning practices in sport management education. As you will note, we are particularly interested in the role of high-impact practices (HIPs), or active learning practices that promote deep learning by promoting student engagement.

Please consider completing a 20-minute survey to assess your perceptions of the identification, use, application, and perceived barriers of HIPs in your sport management program. At the end of the survey, there will be an opportunity to include your email for a 30–60-minute follow-up interview if you are interested in providing us with further insight.

Please click the link to access the survey; however, if you have any questions, contact:

Dr. Jessica Braunstein-Minkove (jminkove@towson.edu);
Dr. Joseph Cooper (josephn.cooper@umb.edu);
Dr. Ryan King-White (rking@towson.edu);
Dr. Michael Odio (odioml@ucmail.uc.edu);
Dr. David Pierce (dpierce3@iupui.edu); or
Dr. Ellen Staurowsky (staurows@ithica.edu

Thank you and we look forward to your insight!
