ANN: Football Scholars Forum on Colombia

On Wednesday, November 9, at 2pm US Eastern Time, the Football Scholars Forum hosts author Peter J. Watson (University of Leeds) via Zoom for a discussion of his book, Football and Nation Building in Colombia (2010-2018).

"The first book on Colombian football in English explores the pivotal role that football played as part of Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos’ national unity project centred on the peace process with the FARC."

The book is available for free download from the Liverpool University Press website.
