Black and Cuba

Robin J. Hayes Discussion

Dear Colleagues,

Black and Cuba is an award-winning documentary that follows a diverse group of Ivy League students who band together and adventure to Cuba, whose population is 60% Black.  Featuring archival footage of Che Guevara, Assata Shakur, Malcolm X and Fred Hampton, the film is now available for your courses about race, activism and the Americas. Because Black history is American history, the Syllabus Guide at http://blackandcuba.tumblr.com/CollegesandUniversities has lesson plans, assignments and readings to facilitate adoption of the film in your courses.
