Black and Cuba is an award-winning documentary that follows a diverse group of Ivy League students who band together and adventure to Cuba, whose population is 60% Black.  Featuring archival footage of Che Guevara, Assata Shakur, Malcolm X and Fred Hampton, the film is now available for your courses about race, activism and the Americas. Because Black history is American history, the Syllabus Guide at has lesson plans, assignments and readings to facilitate adoption of the film in your courses.
