William L. Clements Library 2019 Fellowships

The William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan is accepting applications for 2019 research fellowships. Specializing in pre-1900 American history, the Clements Library's primary resources (books, manuscripts, pamphlets, maps, prints and views, newspapers, photographs, ephemera) support diverse research topics. Strengths include: military history, gender and ethnicity, religion, the American Revolution, Native Americans, politics and government, slavery and antislavery, the Civil War, travel and exploration, and others.

Applications are due January 15, 2019, for projects to be completed that calendar year.
