My name is Katharina Donn and I have just been appointed Book Review Editor on the H-AMSTDY network. I am interested in how writers respond to experiences of conflict and terror, and explore the aesthetics and ethics of literature in the face of terror and trauma. A Poetics of Trauma after 9/11: Representing Vulnerability in a Digitized Present is my first book project, under contract with Routledge Research to be published in 2016. I live and work internationally, between Augsburg and London, as associate lecturer in American Literature and post-doctoral research fellow. You can find more details about my work on my website, http://katharinadonn.net/.
I am very excited to revive Reviews in the H-AMSTDY network, and I'm currently looking to set up an updated list of reviewers. I'd therefore love to hear from any graduate student or scholar interested in publishing reviews on h-net. If that appeals to you and you think you have the necessary academic credentials in any relevant field of American Studies, please send your CV and a short statement of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org. You may want to read the H-Net Review Guidelines and Standards before applying.
