New international MA Program in Middle East Studies (MAPMES) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel

Intertwined Worlds: Jews, Christians, and Minorities in Islamic Societies

One year International MA Program in Middle East Studies, with a special focus on minority religious communities and inter-religious relations

Program Highlights:

  • Master’s in Middle East Studies in one year (3 terms, Fall, Spring, Summer), taught in English
  •  Intense Arabic program (colloquial, classic, modern standard Arabic, all levels)
  • Research experience (archival work, oral history, Judeo-Arabic and more)
  • International two-week course in Morocco on the Jews of North Africa
  • Interdisciplinary approaches, postcolonial studies
