I am seeking to create a panel on new ways of producing/addressing class or classroom pedagogy for the Africa Network Annual Conference; the original cfp can be found at: https://networks.h-net.org/node/28765/discussions/174117/cfp-%E2%80%9Cafrica-21st-century-.... The abstract deadline is 1 May 2017. I'm planning to present work from my history course, "Contested Spaces and Homelands," that compares southern African elements of apartheid with First Nations People in the US and Aboriginal populations in Australia. I am very open to cross-disciplinary options on this panel, though historians are most welcome to join this as well. If interested, please email me at gmarquardt@westminstercollege.edu. I would like to have panel participants in place by Sunday, 30 April so that I may submit an abstract the following day.

Regards,
