Expressions of interest are sought for a panelist to join a session on trans-Pacific networks and mobility proposed for the American Historical Association annual meeting in January 2016. Two panelists have already been secured: one will discuss Australian women’s encounters with US gender relations in the period 1920s-50s, while the second will focus upon representations of women’s travel and mobility across the Pacific in two Australian magazines published in the 1920s and 1930s. Preference will be given to papers focused upon the early twentieth century and concerned with gender, but an Australian connection is not required.
