H-Women is looking for 2-3 book review editors with expertise in U.S., Latin American, Asian, or African women’s history. H-Women reviews are published on the H-Net Reviews network, which is the largest online archive of professional scholarly reviews, with over 42,000 published reviews since 1993. H-Women reviews are distributed to 7,000+ network subscribers, 4,200+ subscribers of H-Net Reviews, and made freely available to all on the H-Net Commons.

H-Net review editors solicit and edit reviews of recently published books of interest to their network subscribers. H-Net handles all book ordering and mailing, and professional copyeditors on staff proofread every review.

Qualifications: Advanced candidacy in a graduate program with expertise in women’s history or related fields. Review editors must be certified by the H-Net Council and serve for two-year renewable terms. Learn more about the qualities of review editors here.

This is an invaluable opportunity to learn about current scholarship and debates and help facilitate discussion and exchange among scholars and students. For more information or to apply, please email Maureen MacLeod at
