ANN: Call for Reviews Editors for H-Latam

H-LatAm seeks to recruit additional editors to help oversee its reviews program under the umbrella of H-Net Reviews.

H-Net Reviews has built a strong reputation for scholarly reviews, taking advantage of the flexibility and speed of online publication while maintaining the highest scholarly standards. It is the largest online archive of professional scholarly reviews, with over 44,000 published reviews since 1993. H-Latam reviews are distributed to over 4,300 network subscribers, 4,100 subscribers of H-Review, and are freely available to all on the H-Net Commons..

Review editors at H-Latam solicit and edit reviews of recently published books and other media in Latin American history and related disciplines. H-Net handles all book ordering and mailing, and professional copyeditors on staff proofread every review. 

In recruiting new editors, we are looking to expand coverage to additional area of coverage that could include conferences, exhibitions, films, digital resources, or textbooks, depending on review editors' fields of interest and expertise. 

Qualifictions: Review editors should be at the ABD stage or possess a terminal degree in an area related to Latin American history or studies. All editors undergo H-Net certification and training.
