NEH Summer Seminars and Institutes broaden and deepen understanding of the humanities by supporting professional development programs, specifically designed for a national audience of college and university faculty. The programs provide one- to four-week opportunities for participants to explore a variety of topics relevant to undergraduate education in the humanities. They take place throughout the United States, and participant stipends help cover travel and living expenses.
