Question: Refugee Artists Autobiographies and/or Memoirs

Cristian Dona-Reveco's picture

Dear all.

I have a student who wants to do a critical review of autobiographies and/or memoirs written by refugee artists/novelists. I have given her Dorfman's Feeding on Dreams and Danticat´s Brother, I´Dying. I am looking for more suggestions. Chronologically, since World War II (ideally), geographically, more than just to the US.

Many thanks,

Come un uomo sulla terra is a documentary made by an African refugee to Italy, Dagmawi Yimer. It had English subtitles and parts are in English.
