Call for Panelists: OAH 2015 Conference "Taboos"

Even though it is at the last minute, I am trying to put together a panel for the 2015 Organization of American Historians (OAH) conference, which will be in St. Louis, Missouri.  The deadline is Friday 1/24.  As the theme is "taboos", I would like to organize a panel looking at gender and/or sexuality in sports.  My own paper will look at the development and meaning of the gay rodeo in comparison to other group-specific rodeo organizations.

CFA Deadline: Sports Studies Symposium: Defining Sport

Dear Colleagues,
The deadline for submitting an abstract is Friday January 24. We will accept submissions after that date, though preference will be given to those who submit something by the deadline. I hope you will consider submitting an abstract or forwarding this call for abstract to an interested scholar.
