CFP: Gender and Legal Culture at the Qing Imperial Court

Panel organizers for an AAS-Asia panel proposal on gender and legal culture during the Qing dynasty and/or the life of imperial household servants, ladies-in-waiting, eunuchs...etc. during the Qing are seeking a third presenter.

The two confirmed presentations for the panel will focus on court theatre actors and understanding eunuch gender during the Qing.

Panelists from outside of the US, especially those in Taiwan, are particularly encouraged to send in proposals.  Please share this with any scholars who you think might be interested.
