I am no linguist, but I would guess that this is an example of phonetic transcription on the part of a scribe who pronounces words with a distinct "a" sound, known as "аканье" <http://dic.academic.ru/dic.nsf/efremova/137589/%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5>.  So, yes, the word is "moskovskii."
