H-SAWH's Categories and Tags

Categories and Tags are used to classify content on H-Net and allow editors and users to easily search for related content—such as discussion posts, blogs, webpages, links, and documents--within and across networks. Categories are applied by network editors and cover common content, like CFPs, grant announcements, and queries. Tags are suggested by users when submitting content and tend to be more subject-specific and significant to the proposed submission. When typing a category or tag, the system will suggest existing terms and phrases. Because consistency is important, we recommend using the Categories and Tags suggested by the system or those listed below.
