The History Department at the University of Toledo invites upper-level undergraduate and graduate students to submit a proposal to present their original research at our History Colloquium to be held in-person on Friday, March 24, 2023.  Students who are working on capstone projects, senior theses, MA theses, or doctoral work are especially encouraged to apply. 

Presentations should be 10 to 15 minutes long.  We are interested in historical research on any topic from any geographical region or time period.

One page abstracts--including your name, contact information, and the title of your presentation--should be sent to Dr. Chelsea Griffis, UT, at chelsea.griffis@utoledo.edu.  While individual papers will be considedred, submission of complete panels is strongly encouraged.  Abstracts must be submitted by the deadline of Wednesday, February 17 and will be responded to by Monday, February 28.
