Title: African American Women and Suffrage in Louisville
Publication: Arc GIS Story Map, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia.
Dr. Carol Mattingly, Professor Emerita of English at the University of Louisville has provided a much needed project focusing on the history of African American women activism in Kentucky's largest city. Emily Barrett, a graduate student at the University of Kentucky, created the Arc GIS Story Map, hosted by the University of Georgia. The site includes maps showing the locations of homes and burial sites of many of the African Americans of this project. The bibliography is long and very useful.
