Annotation: The third volume of the official history of the woman suffrage movement produced by suffragists themselves. This volume covers 1876-1885, and includes a section about the work done in Kentucky. The Kentucky section was written by Mary Barr Clay, one of the early leaders of the movement in the state, and includes many of the initial suffrage activities in the state such as the founding of a suffrage club in Richmond, and visits by Susan B. Anthony and Lucy Stone.
