Frankfort Women Suffrage Centennial Celebration Group to March in Christmas Parade, Dec 8, 7 pm

Frankfort's Women Suffrage Centennial Celebration group is planning to march in the Frankfort Christmas parade on December 8th - 7 p.m. They need people to carry banners. Any "Votes for Women" banners or sashes will do. Please contact Sylvia Coffey if interested (scoffey7@mis.net).

The theme for the Frankfort Christmas Parade is "Saving Christmas!" Inclement weather date is Friday, December 15th.

ROUTE: The parade will step off onto High Street to Capital Avenue and end at the capitol building. Parade floats/vehicles will go around Capital Ave Circle, and disband at E State St, where police will direct away from Capital Ave. No traffic will be allowed back on to Capital Ave after disbanded.

LINEUP: Lineup is first come, first serve at 5p.m. in the Department of Revenue parking lot. Marching band and walking units will line up in the CCU parking lot. Look for attendants who will assist you.

PRIZE: 1st ($1,000), 2nd ($500) and 3rd ($250)
Judging will take place at review stand. If for-profit, prize money will be awarded to the charity of your choice.
