Native American Art coming to an exhibit space near you!

The Kentucky Arts Council has partnered with The Kentucky Native American Heritage Commission and the Kentucky Heritage Council to present "Native Reflections: Visual Art by American Indians of Kentucky." Work was selected from artists throughout the state that highlight Native American Heritage and includes the following artists:

  • Jacquelyn Carruthers (McCracken Co.) - Native Inspired (Choctaw and Cherokee)

  • Cher Devereaux (Scott Co.) - Native Inspired (Cherokee)
    “Has Eyes That See” and “Wild Pony,” acrylic
  • Lawson Glasergreen (Daviess Co.) - Native Inspired (Cherokee)
    “Cherokee Circle of Life 1 & 2,” colored pencil and paper on canvas; and oil, acrylic and paper on canvas
  • Eugene King (Powell Co.) - Native Inspired (Cherokee)
