Elizabeth Solie, Kentucky Girl Scout Troop 1148, has completed her Gold Star Award project with publishing via H-Kentucky the activity book "Votes for Kentucky Women: How Kentucky Joined the Nation in the Fight for Women's Suffrage." She has also undertaken a fundraising campaign in order to pay for the printing costs of the book so to provide it free to Fayette County's 5th graders. Please share this great resource - it is useful for folks at all ages! Download your copy (.pdf file) today and donate it to a local organization or agency where a young reader might see it.
