Pine Mountain Settlement School collections have long been hidden but now much is available online. These documents, artifacts and photographs provide an opportunity for scholars to study rural settlement schools in the Southern Applachian region.

Scholars wishing to do focused research need to contact the Office of the Pine Mountain Settlement School to make an appointment. Extended time in residence will need to be coordinated with campus staff. Summer is a great time to do this at minimal cost.

Student groups are encouraged to come for brief stays (see "Group Offerings" on the Pine Mountain Settlement School website), and instructors could be supported by campus staff to develop a full program of study. Internships are also available.
