Full-Time Visiting Faculty Position in Chinese/East Asian History

The Department of History at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting full-time faculty position to teach six courses (3 per semester) in Chinese/East Asian History during the 2021-2022 academic year to begin in August 2021. We welcome applications from scholars whose primary regional focus is either imperial or modern China. Thematic specialization is open, and we encourage applicants to apply whose expertise and teaching interests may focus upon histories of frontiers and borderlands, environment, migration, diaspora, cities, and/or transnational histories. Successful applicants will be expected to teach broad surveys in Chinese and East Asian history, thematic courses or regional surveys from their own areas of expertise, and one or two courses focused on Asian American or Asian diaspora history.
