The School for International Studies at Simon Fraser University wishes to appoint a development economist/economic historian/comparative political economist to a two-year limited term position, from 1 September 2015. The successful candidate, who must have substantive knowledge and research experience in one of Africa, or Asia, or Europe or Latin America, will contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in development and economic history.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree (or expect to complete by August 2015), promise of excellence in research, and good teaching potential.
