Scope of Duties:

The IES Abroad Tokyo Center Director manages all aspects of the IES Abroad Tokyo program(s) and is responsible for the overall strategy, management and operations at the Center. This includes, without limitation, overseeing the Center’s academic and program development/management, student affairs, administrative and accounting functions, outreach, public relations, marketing, crisis management, university relations with partner institutions and human resources.  The position will also cultivate a broad range of contacts in Tokyo and Japan for the benefit of the Center and IES Abroad.  The Center Director serves as the main point of contact for the Center with IES Abroad headquarters and collaborates closely with the Center Director in Nagoya, on intra-Center projects and opportunities.
