The Department of History at Rhode Island College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Chinese, Japanese, and/or Southeast Asian History and the Department’s General Education offering in Asian History: Asia in the World.

This position is pending budgetary approval and final appointment is subject to available funding.

Required qualifications include: Ph.D. in Asian History; college level teaching experience.

Preferred qualifications:There is no preference for a specific era of research specialization.
