The Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory (AHVA) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor specializing in the history of the art, architecture and visual culture of South Asia. Applicants’ research interests may include any historical period and any geographic region in South Asia. The candidate will be well versed in the most advanced theoretical and methodological concerns of the field and have competency in the languages their specialization requires.
